What is the 3C Challenge anyways?

The 3C's are Community, Culture and Cash. Over 3 days, you will learn how each of these play an important role in creating and running a business. You will gain valuable knowledge and skills through interactive and fun learning activities. By the end of the workshop, you will walk away with, a business plan, a new iPad, a living allowance, and the confidence to stand as an Indigenous Entrepreneur. Once completed, you will be able to put your plan into action and work alongside your teammates and your very own community mentor.

At the end of it, each team has the option to choose where they will focus their value creation, and can choose to create as much Cash, Community value, Cultural value, or combination of all three. After the competition ends, each team can decide to split the profits within themselves or can donate it to an organization in their community. Winners of the challenge are the team/venture that embodies all three 3C’s, not necessarily just financial success.

After your application, a representative of your local Friendship Centre, or the BC Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centers will contact you to discuss next steps.
