Emily Ringler was a riverside alumnus from the class of 2017. After graduating she attended Ohio University to pursue a career in nursing, but after freshman year she was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a rare type of bone cancer. During her 15 month battle with cancer she was always positive and strong. This scholarship honors Emily who lived selflessly and never gave up hope.
