In order to apply for and be eligible for an LazSoc subsidy, please complete the following form regarding the conference that you are interested in attending AT LEAST 14 days PRIOR to attending it.  

Please note, if you're looking for additional delegates members for your conference or competition, please contact the VP of Conference and Competition Maddy Wight who can further assist you and partner you with other Lazaridis students interested in the event. In an effort to encourage students to attend external conferences and competitions, LazSoc will strive to subsidize delegate fees and transportation costs for students whenever possible. Please note that although we will strive to subsidize the costs for as many students as possible, we cannot guarantee that each student will be able to receive financial assistance from the LazSoc.  

Upon return, all students must drop off a reimbursement form with hard copies of all receipts to the VP of Finance mailbox located at the LazSoc Clubs Office (LH1020).

After your conference or competition, you will also be required to complete an event follow up review (max. 150 words) and provide a photo to display on our website, showcasing event accomplishments of yourself and the other students at the Lazardis School of Business and Economics. If approved, please email Maddy Wight your review and picture no longer than 7 days after the last day of your event.

An external conference/competition applies to any such event that is held outside of Wilfrid Laurier University that will be of benefit to delegates attending.  All necessary documents MUST be handed within 14 days after the final day of the conference/competition or the delegate will not receive the subsidy.
