Bagley Early Childhood Pre-School & Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) Registration Information 2021-2022
VPK is a School Readiness Preschool Program.  VPK is for children who will be entering kindergarten in the fall of 2022.  Your child must be four years old by September 1st, 2021 to attend VPK.

Bagley Public School Preschool Enrollment Procedure:
1. Four year olds in the district on first come, first serve basis until September 1st.
2. Four year olds out of district if there are siblings already attending on first come, first serve basis until September 1st.
3. Four year olds that are children of district staff on first come, first serve basis until September 1st.
4. After September 1st, first come first serve for four year olds who live out of district.
5. Students who will be five by September 1st are kindergarten eligible and accepted into VPK will be reviewed at the discretion of teachers and administration.

Early Childhood Screening
Early Childhood Screening is required by Minnesota State Law for children entering preschool or kindergarten.  Early Childhood Screening includes checks on hearing, vision, height & weight, a developmental review, an immunization review and a social-emotional screening worksheet.  Early Childhood Screening is provided free of charge by Bagley Public School, however screening can also be provided by your own health practitioner.  
If your child has not had an Early Childhood Screening, we will call to schedule an appointment.  If your child has been screened, please provide a copy of the screening or upon registration provide the school district name where the screening was completed.  Please contact Jen Haman at 694-3232 if you have questions about Early Childhood Screening.
