Maine Sports Officials is collecting testimonials from those who officiate high school sports in Maine today.

The goal is to collect a large number of short stories, essays, paragraphs, or even just a sentence or two explaining why you first became a sports official, and then use some of them in promotional materials to help recruit new officials and promote the profession of officiating Maine high school sports.

If you submit a response to this request you are giving Maine Sports Officials permission to use your story, with your name, your sport, and the community in which you live, to promote Maine Sports Officials; to produce print or digital media; or in press releases; on our website, social media; or videos.
 
If we decide to use your submission for publication, video, or on our website, we may also contact you to ask for a photo of yourself that you can send by email.
