In 2016, the Egyptian Government have decided to float its currency in a move that has reduced its value by almost 50% against the US dollar, hence, 30 major national hospitals CEO’s decided to gather and they have agreed to set a minimum price for their services for a slight increase of 25% only. Do you consider the aforementioned case as an anti-competitive agreement? If yes please state the Article of the Egyptian Competition law? If not, please explain. *
The chairman and the board of the new language School have decided to change the school uniform in the academic year 2019-2020, to be in a unique shape (Gray polo shirt, with olive stripes on the back, with black arm sleeves, with the school’s logo on the right), hence, they agreed with a garment factory to produce the unique uniform and to sell it to the students. For reasons of harmony, the school decided that the students need to buy the uniform from this factory and they will not accept the students to enter the school without the new uniform. Do you consider the aforementioned case as an abusive behavior? If yes please state the Article of the Egyptian Competition law? If not, please explain. *
