All YNY participants, faculty, and staff are required to follow the
YNY COVID-19 Policy and support each other in creating a community of care for all. As a Community Safety Team member, you are volunteering to foster community care through kind, but firm, reminders to YNY attendees who are not in compliance with the policy.
You are asked to be an active member of this team as you participate in YNY, but especially during transition periods in hallways, lobbies, and shared spaces. Team members are also asked to take two shifts to check proof of vaccination at high traffic times. Volunteers on the Community Safety Team will receive a full festival pass to YNY events.
Volunteers will be asked to attend a brief orientation meeting via Zoom prior to the festival.
You will be provided with a tag that signifies your role as a member of the Community Safety Team. If you experience any issues during YNY, please contact Pete or Clara.
