Welcome to the 5th year of the TAEA Book Study! We are offering an additional summer book study with a focus on teachings to free the creative spirit , Learning by Heart by Corita Kent and Jan Steward to accommodate members in need of professional development hours. This Book study will be worth 6 hours of professional development if participating in all of the required discussion questions and one of the week’s assignments. If you choose to participate in 4 assignments, one each week, you will be eligible for 10 hours of professional development. This is also a flexible study, meaning you can answer the questions when it is convenient for you. However, we do ask that you interact with other participants in order to learn from each others' creative practice. Ask questions and share your perspectives! Also, as this is offered on Google Classroom outside of a district affiliation, you MUST enter your personal email address NOT a school/work email. Once you sign up you will receive an invitation to the class. This book study is going to be broken into 4 weeks of discussion questions and an assignment for each week, starting July 20th and ending August 17th. You may sign up until July 27th.
