Museum Hack: Full Scholarship 1 day Audience Development Workshop Application

Museum Hack was awarded a grant in collaboration with the Miami Foundation + The Knight Foundation to offer three fully funded one-day Audience Development Workshops for up to 20 museum professionals in Philadelphia, Detroit, and Miami.

During the workshop, you’ll:
-learn new strategies to activate your visitor engagement
-master new tools to engage guests in your institution's adult programming
-take away proven methods to upgrade your institution's tour experiences
-and more!

Within Museum Hack we've worked with institutions around the world to help them re-imagine and create new museum experiences for their adult visitors. We’ve worked with the National Park Service, the Field Museum, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the Australian Museum, and many more. Spots are limited to just 20 attendees per workshop. The locations and dates are as follows:

Philadelphia Museum of Art | Tuesday, October 15th | 10:30am to 3:30pm (DEADLINE TO APPLY HAS PASSED)
Detroit Institute of Arts | Friday, November 8th | 10:30am to 3:30pm (DEADLINE TO APPLY HAS PASSED)
Perez Art Museum Miami | Thursday, November 14th (DEADLING TO APPLY HAS PASSED) | 10:30am to 3:30pm

How to apply: If you (or any other member of your institution) are interested in attending this workshop, please fill out this short application!

**Please note -- you must be a resident in the city where the workshop is taking place to be eligible to attend. If you do not live in any of the cities you may still apply just select the option “I'm interested in any future workshops that may take place in my city”  when prompted on the application.

Q: What will this workshop cost?
A: The workshop is provided at absolutely no cost to you! It's fully funded

Q: Will any travel, parking, and/or meals be covered?
A: No.

Q: How many people will be attending the workshop?
A: There will be a maximum of 20 attendees.

Q: Can multiple people from my institution apply to attend?
A: Yes!

Q: What is the selection process?
A: All applications will be reviewed following submission. 20 participants will be selected from the list of applicants to be invited to each workshop. Other qualified applicants will be put on a waiting list in case of cancellations.

Q: What is the deadline to apply?
A: Philly - Wednesday, September 25th
A: Detroit - Monday, October 21st
A: Miami - Wednesday, October 30th

Q: When will I know if I’ve been accepted to the workshop?
A: Philly - by September 27th
A: Detroit - by October 23rd
A: Miami - by November 1st
