The UC Berkeley - UCSF Master of Translational Medicine (MTM), a joint program between UC Berkeley and UCSF, trains students to take new healthcare technology innovation from the early research stage to clinical use. The centerpiece of the program is a capstone project that student teams work on in collaboration with a sponsor. Each year, we seek projects that provide hands on learning opportunities for teams of 3-4 students while substantially advancing a new innovation towards the clinic.
More information about the process is at
https://uctranslationalmedicine.org/capstone/(If you prefer to submit a PDF instead of using the form, you will find an outline to use on the website)
This form has three or four sections:
1) This cover sheet
2) Project narrative and deliverables
3) Sponsor team, mentorship, and remote work plans
4) (For returning sponsors only)
These answers will be shared with the students to help them chose the projects that most interest them. More complete descriptions and milestones generate greater level of engagement.
Early submissions are encouraged and allow us suggest improvements.
