Jessica Marshall and Zenia McLaughlin have loved being a part of Bishop's dance community. What started years ago as an informal gathering of friends has grown into twice-weekly dances and lessons bringing together folks from our diverse community to connect in new and heartwarming ways.  We are so grateful to all that has been organized and created!
Zenia and Jessica met Samantha Buckwalter, our guest teacher, at a dance weekend and loved her so much, they traveled to take private lessons with her.  Not only is Samantha a fantastic dancer and winner of multiple competitions, she is an incredible teacher.  
West Coast swing dancing is both smooth and edgy.  It can be done to music that spans decades and genres. 
We are so excited to share Samantha Buckwalter with you and grow our Eastern Sierra partner dancing community!
Our weekend includes these goodies!

-Friday, March 8, 7-8pm:  West Coast Swing workshop for the PRIDE community and allies.  Taught by Samantha Buckwalter.


-Saturday, March 9, 10-11am. West Coast Swing workshop.  Taught by Samantha Buckwalter.


-Saturday, March 9, 7-9:30pm.  Community Dance!  We will highlight West Coast Swing music, East Coast Swing music and much more.  


-Take your dancing to the next level! Private lessons with Samantha available throughout the weekend! (Lessons can be for individuals or couples).

Pricing:

-Early bird pricing until March 6:  $15 per person for each workshop.  $15 per person for the Dance. 

-After March 6 and at the door, $20 per person for each workshop and/or $20 per person for the Dance. *

-Private lessons are $120 for 50 minutes. Paid to Samantha directly at the time of your lesson.  

*No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Volunteer opportunities are available.

Do I need a partner?

No partner needed for workshops, the dance, or private lessons.  Welcome to all dancers, every level or experience, whether you lead, follow, or switch!
