Reviewing Our "Wildly Important Goals"
ESA Sections are responsible for developing member capabilities to improve “outreach related to science and public policy, program development, continuing education, and fostering interest in entomology."

To improve our capacity do this, Section leadership worked with ESA staff in 2015 to create two “wildly important goals” or WIGs:

WIG #1; Enhance knowledge of P-IE members on pollinator protection through the development and dissemination of technical educational materials, including videos, PowerPoint modules, and a resource library.

WIG #2; By 2020, P-IE will become the lead national expert organization for the dissemination of knowledge on pollinators to the general public, media, and policy makers.

What are the next big issues that the P-IE Section should tackle? We are seeking your input so we can best serve our section members. The first two pages will provide a brief background on recent P-IE activities and the final page will ask you where we should go next.
