Before You Sign: Understanding Publisher Agreements
What is the purpose of a publishing agreement, and what exactly does it mean to sign it? In this workshop, we will examine agreements from different major academic journal publishers and discuss factors to consider before signing.

Note that the December 17 session will focus on publishers in the social sciences and humanities and the December 20 session will focus on publishers in science, engineering, and medicine.

This workshop aims to help academic authors read agreements closely and critically and will be led by Copyright Librarian Amanda Wakaruk.
