The purposes of this group messaging thread are to keep our youth group (us) connected, and to share communications and announcements instantaneously between our youth and our ministry coordinators. However, in order to maintain a church-appropriate environment for interaction, these guidelines are necessary. Please read through them and indicate your agreement with them at the bottom of this form.

We will be using the app GroupMe; it's available for download on both the App Store (Apple) and Google Play Store (Android), and can also be accessed from a desktop/laptop at groupme.com. You'll need to create an account.

Guidelines:
- Use church-appropriate language when speaking in the group chat (no profanity will be tolerated).
- To be respectful of everyone’s different schedules, please do not send messages in the chat during school hours (8 am-3 pm) and from 10 pm-7 am.
- Do not spam the chat.
- No gossiping about others.
- We want this messaging thread to be an inclusive, welcoming, and community-oriented environment in which you can feel comfortable in being and expressing yourself with the others; this means that we want you to be able to feel comfortable in sharing your joys, concerns, sorrows, and any other things that you wish to share with the group. However, if something that is shared is indicative of a legal/safety issue, it must be reported and handled by the coordinators.
- Please respect the privacy of those within the group. Anyone is allowed to share whatever they are comfortable sharing, but we must respect the boundaries of those who do not wish to share any more than they have already shared.
