While we will ask many questions about photography equipment, portfolio, and experience, it is not necessary for this position.  I will provide training for this position.

We are ultimately looking for the perfect fit: someone who is positive and willing - a hard worker and a fast learner.  We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a deserve to serve clients, and an ability to lead with confidence.

The ideal candidate will have a love for great wedding photography, a warm personality, a flexible schedule, lots of patience, and a willingness to work hard.  

This application is for an associate shooter contractor position with Katie Gallagher Photography located in Louisville, Kentucky for 2023. The chosen applicant will be required to sign a contract with KGP.

Duties include but not limited to:

-Work as lead photographer on wedding day on behalf of KGP

-Manage and guide second photographer on wedding day

-Capture all stages of wedding day with enthusiasm and poise

-Manage vendor relationships on wedding day

-Provide RAW images to KGP after wedding day. 

This position does not include editing.

Work hours will most often be on Saturdays/weekends for weddings, as well as other various times throughout the week, usually in the mornings / evenings (engagement and bridal sessions). 

It is also a seasonal business: heavy bookings in the Spring and Fall, and relatively little shooting happening in the cold months of winter.
