Community Night Info (Downtown Lake Mills Friday, July 12, 6 pm - dusk):

There will be all sorts of family fun downtown with FREEĀ Admission to all! Attendees can grab their favorite local food and shop, play or just hang out on Main Street. Vendors will be set up outdoors (or in the Truman Helgeson Civic Center in case of inclement weather). Space is limited, vendors will be approved on a first-come, first-served basis. Set up will begin at 4 pm, and the gates open at 6 pm. If you need additional time, please contact the July Jubilee committee at (641) 592-5253 or lmcdc@wctatel.net. Vendors are welcome to stay open as long as they please (little access to electricity for vendors) though dusk is expected to be around 9 pm after which visibility may be limited. The 200 block of Main Street and 100 block of N Mill Street will be closed off to traffic, so you may have to move materials extended distances from parking locations to set up area. Also, Downtown Lake Mills gets a good amount of sun and wind - please plan accordingly. A map of vendor set up locations will be shared closer to the event date.

Picnic in the Park info (Oakwood Park - Saturday, July 13, 11 am - 3 pm):

The Picnic in the Park starts directly after the July Jubilee parade at 10:30 am. Because the park is on the parade route, we encourage early set up (8:30 am - 10:00 am) to avoid parade traffic. There will be no parking in the park or along the street during the parade, but you can pull up to the park to unload and load materials and then park elsewhere. Vendors will set up along the sidewalk that runs the perimeter of the park. Oakwood park is well shaded, so tents may not be necessary depending on where you set up. The Lake Mills Parents for D.C. group will be selling lunch (<$10) during this time, and there will be restrooms available. In the instance of rain, the event will be moved to the Lake Mills foyer and high school gym.
