Healthy Franklin County Incentives Registration
Healthy Franklin County is helping promote Everybody Walk Across Pennsylvania as part of its Move for Mental Health education and awareness campaign. People who work or live in Franklin County are eligible to receive incentives for participating in the free, eight-week virtual walking challenge from September 11, 2023 to November 6, 2023. Participants must register for the walking program and incentives by September 1, 2023.  To be eligible for incentives, participants must fill out this form. Please note that if you are registering as part of a team with the Everybody Walk Across Pennsylvania program, you will need to provide on this form your team name and team captain's name as miles logged for teams are logged by the team captain only and do not include individual participants names. We will verify completion of the walking program by crossing referencing Penn State Cooperative Extensions Total Mileage Report with participant information in this form. 

How it Works

You have many options to earn entries to win gift cards to GIANT and WellSpan Health Market Bucks (vouchers that can be used to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables from local farmers markets). (*Note: We are still identifying incentive opportunities throughout the 8-week program. The list below will be updated on an ongoing basis and those who register for the incentives will be sent updates and reminders after they register). 

  • Register for Everybody Walk Across Pennsylvania - 1 entry
  • Complete Everybody Walk Across Pennsylvania – 1 entry per registrant
  • Form a team of five – 1 entry per team member
  • Register for Move for Mental Health newsletter – 1 entry
  • Participate in the "Light the Night for Hope/Recovery Month/Suicide Prevention Month" activities in September – 2 entries
  • Participate in WellSpan Health's " Virtual QPR Training" on October 25 from 2pm - 5pm - 2 entries
  • Participate in United Way Community Info Expo on November 4 from 9am - 12pm - 2 entries
  • Participate in Keystone Health's Diabetes Fair on November 4 from 9am -12pm - 2 entries
  • Complete program survey – 1 entry
For entries earned by participating in programs hosted by community based organizations, you must submit proof of attendance which can include a selfie photo from the event and or a signed letter community participation letter. Please submit all proof of attendance documentation in one email by November 5, 2023 to npurdy@wellspan.org. 

Incentives

At the end of the eight-week walking program, a random drawing will be held to award 30 GIANT Food Stores gift cards valued at $50 each. Each winner will also receive $10 in WellSpan Health Market Bucks. The more you participate in the incentives opportunities, the more chances you have to win.
