The competition and curatorial selection Other Visions is dealing with contemporary Czech audio-visual creations, operating on the boundaries of fine art, video art and animation, and making this art more accessible and open to the public. Any form of classical animation, work with manipulated images, text, sequences of feature films and performance records, etc. is accepted. We expect to see work with moving images of film and video in the broadest possible sense. The top ten works selected by this year’s curators Tina Poliačková and Lumír Nykl will enter the competition. Two prizes will be awarded by a three-member international jury (Main Prize) and the audience (Audience Award). Awards will be announced and handed out during the closing ceremony of PAF, Sunday December 6, 2020.

Deadline to submit applications for Other Visions CZ 2020: midnight, October 4, 2020.

The registration fee is 100 CZK. After submitting your registration form, you will receive payment details into your e-mail inbox. The registration fee shall be paid via bank transfer prior to October 4, 2020. Your work(s) will be accepted into the competition only after the registration fee is successfully paid (three working days are reserved for interbank transfer).
