Jumpstart is open to youth ages 5-7.

Our camps will take place at the Village Gate (274 Goodman St. N, Suite D218, Rochester, NY 14607)

-- ACESSIBILITY --

The Village Gate is accessible with wide, automatic doors with no steps to enter the building, there is an elevator to take you to the second floor. The first-floor public bathroom is equipped with grab bars, but there are no grab bars in the 2nd-floor bathroom.

Jumpstart Camp will run July 11 - 15 during two sessions:

Session 1: 9 AM- 12 PM
or
Session 2: 1PM - 4 PM


— SLIDING SCALE TUITION —

The camp "tuition" varies year to year depending on the results of our fundraising events. As an organization that is 100% donation-funded, we attempt to keep our recommended fee low and offer a sliding scale to our applicants. The 2022 recommended camp fee is $180 per attendee.

We ask applicants to commit to paying what they can. Those who can contribute more than the $180 help provide those who require financial assistance with the opportunity to attend our program.

We seek to support each child who wants to participate in the Mixtape We also recognize that not all members of our community have equal access to financial resources. One way we can acknowledge these economic differences and provide access to our programs for all campers is by providing sliding scale tuition.

With our sliding scale tuition, each family is able to determine how much they are able to contribute to our program. We do not want tuition costs to deter anyone from applying to camp.
