About memberships
Members play a vital role in capitalizing our start up costs and additionally play an equally important role in allowing us to meet our Members’ need for fresh, local and organic foods. [Note: upon acceptance, a Member of the Co-op is an Owner of the Co-op. The legal term for the Owner’s status in Oregon Revised Statutes (“ORS”) is (“Member"), and ORS requires payment of a Membership Fee for Membership. The Co-op prefers the term (“Owner”) for its Members, but it uses the term (“Membership Fee”) to refer to the fee which the person must pay to become an Owner.]
To become an Owner of the Port Orford CommUnity Co-op (POCC), please fill out this form and bring it by the store with your Membership Fee payment or mail both to POCC, PO Box 404, Port Orford, OR 97465.
The Membership Fee is $100. There are two payment options:
Payment in full.
Installment payments. Consecutive monthly payments of $25. Discounts and other benefits for Owners will begin immediately and will continue as long as you pay your Membership Fee
