As the Medi-Cal renewal process unfolds, The Children’s Partnership is committed to uplifting the voices of Medi-Cal families with regard to their experience with the Medi-Cal renewal process.

TCP has contracted with Lake Research Partners to recruit families of color to participate in focus group listening sessions to hear about their experiences and barriers with the renewal process. In addition, Lake Research will be recruiting application/renewal assisters who help families with their Medi-Cal renewals to understand their experience and their observations of the renewal process.

As of now, these focus groups are planned to be held in early- to mid-December via zoom.

Because The Children's Partnership values the time and expertise of families and the assisters who help them, we reimburse focus group participants with a $100 stipend for the 2-hour focus group discussion.
