Lion King Jr. Audition Form
We are auditioning young actors ages 8 to 18 who want to participate in the CORE GROUP of actors for both weeks of Lion King Jr. performances.
Performance dates & times:
Week One:
July 26th  2:30 & 5 PM, 
July 27th 12:30 & 3:00 PM.
Week Two:
Aug. 2nd  2:30 & 5 PM,  
Aug. 3rd 12:30 & 3:00 PM. 

The core group will learn ALL the music, and choreography and take the leading and principal roles. They will also help theater camp participants learn their parts during Theater camp.
You will need to register for theater camp, both weeks (Core Group will only need to pay for one week). 
The core group will rehearse mostly during the month of May, June, and July. June and July rehearsals will occur mostly during the daytime hours. Please see camp details:  Theater Camps (elginoperahouse.com)

I understand that participating in a show of this magnitude requires commitment and sacrifice.  I may be asked to give up other activities to accommodate our rigorous rehearsal & performance schedule.  I understand that rehearsals & performances are required, and some rehearsals will run late (past 10 pm) to accommodate the needs of the show.  Tech and Dress week rehearsals WILL absolutely run late.  Rehearsals will be scheduled Monday through Saturday.  We may schedule a mid-week show(s) for school children that may require you to miss work or school.  By checking "Yes", if you are cast for a role, you agree that you are willing to CHEERFULLY work with the directing and tech staff to accommodate the needs of the show.  Performance dates: See auditions call.  I agree to register and pay the theater camp tuition fee if cast in the performance.
