Excellence in Biocuration - Exceptional Contribution to Biocuration Award Nominations

This award has been created to recognize a person who has made exceptional contributions to the field of biocuration.

Deadline for nominations: May 30th, 2025 at 5PM CEST.

The recipient will be required to present a talk at the Biocuration Conference 2026 in South Africa and will be sent a prize of 500 CHF and will be given one year complimentary membership to the ISB.

Exceptional Contribution career nominee will be someone who has a senior role in biocuration group, or has 7+ years experience in a biocuration-relevant field.

All nominees will be contacted before the election to check that if they are successful then they are willing to give a 30 minute talk at the Biocuration Conference 2026 and to have their name, bio and photograph included on the ISB website, newsletter (circulated via the ISB distribution list) and twitter account.

The nominee will not be informed of the name of the person who nominated them unless you have indicated that this can be done.
