Back to School 2020-2021:                                    Draft Health and Safety Protocols
Hello, EUSD Families.

Thank you for your participation in our recent Learning Options Survey, as well as the initial ThoughtExchange discussion.

Our collection of feedback began with this guiding question: As we plan for the opening of the 2020-2021 school year, what should we be considering that will assist you in feeling comfortable about sending your children or returning to work at our school sites?

Next, our Design Team launched planning sessions, led by these guiding principles: following public health and safety guidelines; maintaining an inclusive, caring, and supportive district culture; establishing systematic protocols; and timely communication and transparency.
 
Now, we are sharing the Draft Health and Safety Protocols as an attachment for your review and comment.

In the coming weeks, you will have an opportunity to look at the next phase of the Design Team’s work, which centers around our teaching and learning principles and schedules. These communication and review opportunities are intended to help you make an informed choice about what Teaching and Learning Model is best for your family.
