UNC EFC Water, Wastewater, and Stormwater Finance Strategies Workshop: Eastern NC (Aug 22-23, 2023)
Description:
The
Water, Wastewater, and Stormwater Finance Strategies Workshop will review finance topics for water and wastewater operators including: rate setting and pricing water for full cost recovery; benchmarking and tracking your utility's financial performance through financial metrics; and an introduction to financial management tools available through the
UNC Environmental Finance Center (UNC EFC) website. The course will also feature a session with Dr. Kara Millonzi of the UNC School of Government about trends and updates in legal issues affecting utility financial management, as well as a session with representatives of the N.C. Department of Water Infrastructure on funding and program opportunities. Day 1 will focus on water and wastewater finance and Day 2 on stormwater finance.
