Thank you for using the Henderson County Public Library’s seeds by delivery program.  Our “Seed Liberry” is a free program that allows library patrons to take packets of seeds to plant and experience the joys of gardening to provide nutritious vegetables and herbs to members of our community.

Unlike most of the library’s collections, nothing needs to be returned after you “check out” these packets of seeds.  Typically the location of our seed library is just inside the library’s main entrance, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently not able to open our doors to the public.  During this time we are offering this seeds by delivery approach to allow access to our seed packets directly to your home.


We have a variety of herbs, fruits, and vegetable seeds to choose from.  Limit 5 vegetable/fruit/herb seeds per household with two complimentary flower packets. Only Henderson County residents can request seed packets. If you know the specific type of fruit or vegetable you want, please fill out the space beside the choice you made.
