Quick Capacity Assessment Tool (QCAT) for Nonprofits
Thank you for your interest in our Quick Capacity Assessment Tool (QCAT) for Nonprofits.
The purpose of this tool is to carry out a quick self-assessment of your nonprofit's overall capacity.

INSTRUCTIONS
To use the tool, select a number from 1 to 5 for each statement. Your selection should represent the extent to which each statement is true for your nonprofit.

Your results will be automatically calculated and a report will be created, but we will need to manually collect your report and email it to you. Please be patient as we will do my best to email you your report as quickly as possible.

HOW THIS TOOL WORKS
Each of the 26 statements in this assessment is a simplified description of the components of the six functional areas of a nonprofit organization: Purpose, Outreach, Engagement, Operations, Team, and Program. Your response to each statement will help you asses your nonprofit's capacity in these functional areas and their components. Your Board and Executive Team can use these results to review their current perception of your nonprofit's capacity, and identify and communicate priorities for capacity building. You can also use it as a starting point of a long-term capacity building effort.

CONFIDENTIALITY
All the information collected by this tool will be kept confidential. Under no circumstances will we share your individual answers or any information that could identify your nonprofit. We will aggregate the data to see if there are interesting patterns that can help us understand capacity building challenges common to the nonprofits that use the quick assessment tool.
