Tena koutou,

In preparation for Maori Language week we will be visiting the Wellington Museum of City and Sea on the 5th of September. We will be learning about the creation of Te Whanganui-a-Tara and hearing the stories about the city we live in. We will be walking both ways so students will require warm, waterproof coats to combat the weather. Rooms 5, 6 and 7 will be travelling to and from the museum at different times. Each class will require some parent helpers. Please note on the form whether you will be able to accompany Room 7.

Timeframe:

We intend to depart from school at 8.50am to walk to the museum. We will be at the museum until 11am and expect to be back at school between 11.30 - 12pm.
