On the occasion of the Ocean Decade, the Blue Tourism Initiative is organizing a satellite event "Bridging Ocean Research and Policy Agenda for Sustainable and Resilient Blue Tourism" that will explore the convergence of blue tourism, science and policy, focusing on gaps and opportunities. Emphasising the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Western Indian Ocean, the event aims to inform a more resilient, inclusive and sustainable blue tourism sector. Through interactive sessions, it aims to foster networking, interregional exchange, and policy reflection for sustainable blue tourism development.
This event will be held at the Marine Science Institute (ICM/CSIC), Room P31, from 3 to 4.30 PM CEST, and it is under invitation as it has a limited number of seats and confirmation will be sent before the event.
A coffee break buffet will be held on the patio of the same ICM to enhance networking possibilities.
The event will also be streamed on Zoom. Access details will be sent after confirming the participation.
