Application For the Gaia Unlimited - Community Workshop 2024
This will be a three-day workshop and unconference, where we will discuss and learn from each other about the finer details of the Gaia selection function and how to use it. Participants will be working with the new GaiaUnlimited selection function tools, for which we will provide assistance as needed and we will improve them based on the feedback we'll receive.

Organizers: Adrian Price-Whelan (Flatiron) Alfred Castro-Ginard (Leiden) Andy Casey (Monash) Anthony Brown (Leiden) David Hogg (NYU/ Flatiron/ MPIA Heidelberg) Hans-Walter Rix (MPIA Heidelberg) Morgan Fouesneau (MPIA Heidelberg) Ron Drimmel (INAF-Torino) Shourya Khanna (INAF-Torino) Tristan Cantat-Gaudin (MPIA Heidelberg) Vasily Belokurov (IoA Cambridge)

Please see the website at https://gaia-unlimited.github.io/community-workshop3/ for more details.

We are collecting applications for the second GaiaUnlimited community workshop with this form. The data you provide will be used only to process your application, to inform you whether your application was successful and to facilitate your participation in the workshop if successful.

Based on these applications, we aim to select a group of about 40 participants with a range of expertise and interests, and with a balanced distribution across geographical location and career stage, while also aiming to include underrepresented groups.

The survey contains a set of multiple choice questions and some free response questions. We estimate that it will take 15-30 minutes to complete but, if you are signed in with a Google account, your work will be saved as you go so that you can return to it later.

Applications close on June 14, 2024, and we will get in touch by July 1 2024.

You are encouraged to email the organizers, provide feedback, or leave a comment on the last page of this form if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions about this process.
