Then join us Monday, November 20th, from 5:00-9:00PM in TASC1 9204, to learn everything about Quantum Computing!
Taught by a PhD student in Quantum Computing, you will learn:
- The history of Quantum Physics and how Quantum Computing began
- The mathematics behind Quantum Computing (basic knowledge in Linear Algebra is recommended!)
- How to write programs for Quantum Computers in Python
A tutorial on running your programs on real IBM Quantum Computers will be given, too!
To best enjoy this workshop, please bring:
- A pencil or pen for writing notes
- A laptop (Windows, MacOS, and Linux will work)
- An eagerness to learn!
Skeleton notes will be provided, allowing you to take home what you learn.
