Games Group
Tuesday 16th - Friday 19th April 2024
9:00 - 1:00pm
Who doesn't love games!? This group will focus on developing social and interpersonal skills whilst playing a variety of games. We have planned that each day has a different theme to keep the week fun and interesting. Group members are welcome to bring along a game of choice if desired, however please note that Kids First OT does not take responsibility for any damage caused during the group. This group will have a therapist to child ratio of 1:3. See planned games outlined below:
* Tuesday = Uno/Cards/Board games day
* Wednesday = Lego day
* Thursday = Online day (Minecraft and Roblox)
* Friday = Nerf day
Note: for Thursday (online day) children are required to bring their own device. Therapists will have a strict schedule for gaming (45 mins on device, 45-60 minutes off) to ensure adequate movement and regulation. Please bring your own device and any relevant chargers required. This group will be closely supervised and when using devices it will be purely for the games, not leisurely activities like YouTube etc. Wifi will be provided by Kids First OT.
