About the Digital Learning Institute (DLI)
In response to the growing faculty interest in digital learning, the Division of Teaching Excellence and Innovation (DTEI) is partnering with the Online Learning Research Center to offer a seven-week faculty development program, the Digital Learning Institute (DLI). The theme of the inaugural 2020 DLI is "Embracing Pedagogical Excellence in Remote Teaching". A designated instructional designer is assigned to support each DLI faculty developing a remote course throughout the program. Since April 2020, sixty UCI faculty have participated in this program and developed quality remote courses online. Faculty completed the program will be recognized as Digital Learning Institute Fellows with more future opportunities to exchange teaching ideas in the DLI Alumni network. For more information, please contact DTEIsupport@uci.edu.
