NXT UP Esports is a new, virtual esports league for League of Legends players aged 13-16, ranks Iron-Silver. The league will teach players the fundamentals of the game and be intensely focused on developing the players’ life skills: communication, teamwork, friendships, inclusivity as we believe these things will have a direct, positive impact on all areas of their lives. At NXT UP, our goal is to prove that video games can improve people's self esteem, foster lifelong friendships, and enhance communities.

We are looking for passionate coaches that view gaming the same way we do and want to teach these lessons to young players.

Essential Job Functions
-Manage up to 10 players
-Work with league administration on practice curriculum and lessons
-Offer constructive feedback and positive mentorship to players
-Foster relationships with between players on their teams
-Create a fun, social, learning environment for players each week
-Maintain clear and consistent communication between the players, team and league administrators
-Offer feedback and guidance to league administration on how to improve the program

Qualifications
-Ranked Plat or higher in League of Legends
-Experience coaching or mentoring
-Experience or involvement with collegiate esports program is a plus
-Coaches must submit to a background check (we’re working with kids and need to ensure their safety)
