Intent to Compete
As a state, we are only allowed to have 3 competitors/teams in each event at the International Leadership Conference (ILC) on June 21 - 24, 2023. All non-competitors may also attend ILC and are encouraged to do so.

* You may only compete in ONE event at ILC, plus National Geographic events, plus Anatomage, & recognition.
* As a rule of thumb, the top 3 winners in each event are automatically invited to compete.  If they are unable to
   attend, then we invite the 4th place, 5th place, etc.  We need to know who is competing at ILC and what event.
* If you placed in the top 10 in an event and are interested in competing at ILC, please fill out this form.
* If you placed in the top 10 in an event but will not go to ILC, please also fill this out.
* If spaces open up due to someone not going, I will go down the list and invite competitors.
* If you are not in the top 3, you are not guaranteed a spot to compete at ILC.
* This form must be returned by April 21, 2023.  I understand this is early, but with the May 10th ILC Deadline, I
   need time to invite other competitors if you are unable to attend.
* If I don’t hear from you by April 21, 2023, you will forfeit your spot and other competitors will be asked to
  compete.
* Any teachers who wish to attend, please submit the separate teacher form.
* Do not include Anatomage or National Geographic tests in your answers below.
* We always have spirit items for the opening session.  Think about what you think would be fun to show our
   excitement.  In the past we have had all kinds of blinky or flashy items and noise makers.
* If you plan to compete...STUDY & PRACTICE!!!  There is serious competition there!!
* The list of all competitor placements will be posted on our state website this week.
* If competing, be sure to read and FOLLOW all details regarding your event:
       * Tallo upload?
       * Official portfolio required?
       * Items you must bring?  (if you have to test, all testing is done there.  BRING
         PENCILS with erasers, not mechanical pencils.  Bring at least two to the test.

If you have any questions, please let me know.
