Access Tutor Registration Form
The tutoring process for Mature Student Office, Disability Support Services, or UCC PLUS+ (Access & Participation services) has been streamlined and is now administered by the Skills Centre.

Opportunities exist for Postgraduate students to work as a tutor to undergraduate students who are registered with Mature Student Office, Disability Support Services, or UCC PLUS+ (Access & Participation services). These tutoring sessions involve working one-to-one with undergraduate students or with very small groups in an online capacity. Please note that this is a paid position. Hourly Occasional Postgraduate Tutorial rate (€23.81 per tutorial hour) applies to this demand-led service.

Desirable criteria: Candidates should have practical experience of and familiarity with the UCC Book of Modules and with accessing UCC Past Exam papers. Candidates should have recently completed their own studies of the undergraduate modules which they now wish to tutor in. Previous experience of working as a tutor is desirable but not necessary as training will be provided.

Please be as specific as possible by listing actual module codes for the UCC Undergraduate modules that you are able to teach.  A full list of module codes is available at the online Book of Modules.

Please note that this is a paid position. Hourly Postgraduate Tutorial rate (€23.81 per tutorial hour) applies. Tutor Training will be provided by the Skills Centre for all tutors who are interested in working with the Access & Participation Services.
