To apply you must be at least 14 years old.

FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2021 will be hosted in the Latvian cities of Riga and Daugavpils. The event will take place from June 29 to July 11, 2021, in three venues with 16 teams. 

Latvian Basketball association has excellent experience at organizing high-level sporting events and we are looking for the best, most motivated, fun volunteers that are looking for self development.

It is highly essential that volunteers can provide as much effort and time to their work as possible at the time of the championship (29.06. – 11.07.)

Different volunteer positions are available:
- Ball boy/girl (Assistance on court during practices and games)
- Technical assistance (this is where we need strong guys 18+)
- Press assistant (work in media zone, will assistance to official journalists and photographers with the latest accurate information etc.)
- Accreditation center agent (helping to manage accreditation process)
- Information desk at hotels and arenas (Providing information, managing practice gyms)
- If the spectators will be allowed, positions like ticketing/tribune assistance, VIP hosts, marketing assistant will be open.
- Doping control assistant might be needed.

All volunteers will be provided with meals, water and Nike uniforms.
