#3519 Youth Mental Health First Aid
Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders in youth. This 6.5 hour training gives adults who work with youth the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to children and adolescents (ages 6-18) who may be developing a mental
health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.
Schedule:
2 hours pre-work
4.5 hours virtual:
8:30 am - 11:00 am with a 15 min break (2 hours 15 minutes)
11:00 am - 12:00 pm lunch
12:00 pm - 2:30 pm with a 15 min break (2 hours 15 minutes)
