Talcott Temporary Card Form

If you do not have a current library card at any library and would like temporary access (6 months)* to Talcott's online resources and e-collections, please fill out the below form. To receive a full 3 year card, please download the PrairieCat mobile app and fill out the registration (complete with secure submission of utility bill and ID). We will respond to you with your Talcott barcode and PIN number as quickly as possible (usually within 1-2 business days).

Talcott will not share any information with any entity outside of Talcott Free Library and will not send any spam.

*Qualifying patrons must either reside within Talcott's district or be a non-resident (not reside in any library district) within Winnebago County. Talcott will check all addresses against Winnebago County tax records to confirm eligibility. All online cards will have a expiration date of 6 months after creation. Patrons may come in with proof of address to pick up their physical card and extend their expiration dates. Non-resident patrons will be required to pay the non-resident fee before renewing cards.
