The Berkeley Dance Project, the annual dance concert for the Department of Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies, is seeking ASUC dance groups and cultural groups to perform. Up to two dance pieces will be selected.
Application Deadline Extended: December 1, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. (PDT)
Requirements:
— Student dancers must be available for all performances, technical, and dress rehearsals:

    - Tech Week: February 11-15 (one date TBD), 6-11pm
    - Dress Rehearsals: February 18 AND 19, 6-11pm
    - Shows: February 20, 21, 22 AND 27, 28, 29

— Dancers must enroll in 1 unit of THR 180 for the spring semester to cover tech rehearsals and performances.

— Student groups are responsible for providing their own costumes or performance gear.

— The dance submitted on video ideally would be the same as what is shown in the Berkeley Dance project. However, if a team changes sets every semester, than the application video should reflect the overall style of the team (submit a video that shows something similar to what the team/group would do). Music titles can be submitted as well as the overall vision/story of the piece, the length, the number of dancers, the types of costumes, etc...

— No more than 40 dancers can be part of the group's dance piece.

— The piece cannot exceed 10 minutes and should be at least 2 minutes in length.
