WHAT IS AN APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM?

A New York Registered Apprenticeship Program is the opportunity to take an individual with no experience to learn a skilled trade in numerous industries, i.e. - Construction, Manufacturing.  By providing him/her with a very structured training program that consists of on-the-job training (earning-while-learning), as well as classroom instruction. With a pay wage progression already in place, this is the first step in providing that employee a defined career ladder for success.
