Nomination for Outstanding Fundraising Professional
This award honors an outstanding individual fundraising professional who works for a nonprofit, charitable organization. Nominees must have experience as a professional fundraiser and be a current AFP member. Nominations MUST address the following criteria, and consideration will be based solely on the responses:

For each organization where the nominee has held a significant fundraising position, provide a description of each below: (0-40 points)

Position and responsibilities

Specific projects and campaigns completed
c.
Evidence of exemplary work, career achievements, creativity, innovation, and leadership roles
2. Describe the impact of the nominator’s work on the Organization, including role in helping raise funds, amour funds raised, growth in funds raised and other important fundraising metrics. (0-20 points)
3. Description of nominee’s commitment to the profession, professional development and AFP engagement including: (0-30 points)
a. Committee work
b. Attendance at AFP events
c. Actively seeking of input from professional colleagues
d. Preparing / Already engaged in obtaining CFRE
4. Description of individuals volunteer activities within the community (not including AFP) and why the nominee is involved within those organizations. (0-10 points)
Please attach responses to the above areas of inquiry in a summary narrative format of NO MORE THAN THREE PAGES, using a 12-point font and one (1) inch margins. IMPORTANT: The Committee will not accept resumes, newspaper articles, annual reports, etc. in substitution for concise responses to the criteria outlined above. These may serve as supporting documents.
