This free summer literacy program is available for youth aged 12-18 (or entering 7th through 12th grades) in the Tucker, Georgia area.

When: Weekdays Monday, June 13th though Friday June 24th from 1-3 pm

Where: Tucker Reid H. Cofer Library 5234 Lavista Rd, Tucker, GA 30084

Who: Any youth aged 12-18 (or entering 7th through 12th grades) in the Tucker, Georgia area. The program is offered by the Linguistic Justice Collaborative, a group made up of university professors, community educators, and a local author.

Why: To respond to community requests for writing workshops.

Funded by the Spencer Foundation and supported by Mercer University and the DeKalb County Public Libraries, this program is free for all participants and will provide participants with snacks and the final published book that will be written during the workshop.
