Summer Application Deadline: April 4th, 2023
In this Fellowship, students will participate in a media production intensive covering scriptwriting and storyboarding, collaboration, production and post production and will create their own 5-6 minute short film on the theme of Futures We Dream, inspired by the Smithsonian FUTURES exhibition currently on view in Washington, DC. Award-winning film makers from the Smithsonian show will be featured guest speakers and mentors. Participants will also be eligible for the Bay Area Pre-Apprenticeship Program for Multimedia Producers.
Fellowship members will receive an hourly stipend (18$/hour) for their active participation during classes, as well as work time outside of class up to 5.75 hours a week.

Teachers: This program will be taught by BAVC Media teachers on the Youth and Emerging Media Makers (YEMM) team.
