IHPI/CHOP K and R Mock Study Sections
The IHPI/CHOP K and R Mock Study Section program provides IHPI early and mid-career faculty members with an opportunity to receive peer feedback on draft K-series and R01 proposals prior to submission. Each Mock Study Section follows the same format as an NIH study section, and includes a section moderator and two to three reviewers.

Scheduling Process:
IHPI members should have a solid first draft of their proposal before requesting a Mock Study section. Because it can take several months to plan a mock study section due to the program's popularity and busy faculty schedules, please submit your request at least two months (preferably three) before your desired session date. Sessions are typically scheduled for Fridays from 1:30 - 2:30, however can be adjusted based on need. Once you have completed this request form, IHPI staff will work with you to coordinate your session, including the following steps:
 
-  Finalize the date and time of your Mock Study Section
-  Help identify and recruit study section reviewers
-  Share the proposal with your reviewers at least two weeks before your session
-  Invite CHOP and IHPI members to attend your study section
