WFA Scholarship Application
DC UL Backpacking has three partial scholarships (75%) available to help obtain your Wilderness First Aid certification through MEDIC SOLO. Applications will be open through 5 p.m. Eastern on August 25, 2021.

Eligibility Requirements
-- Assistant Organizers and aspiring assistant organizers
-- Must be up-to-date on annual dues

Scholarship Fulfillment Requirements
-- Recipients commit to leading two low mileage (LM) trips within a year of receiving scholarship
-- Recipients commit to leading one other trip of any rank within a year of receiving scholarship

How It Works
-- Fill out our application by 5 p.m. Eastern on August 25, 2021.
-- Our esteemed panel will review all applications and select the three recipients. All applicants will be notified by September 15, 2021.
-- Upon successful completion of their certification, recipients will be reimbursed for 75% of the registration cost.
