Registration for the Nature and Diversity in the North seminar
Welcome to the Nature and Diversity in the North seminar on 16.-18.9.2022 in Rovaniemi!

Seminar begins at 5PM Finnish time (UTC +3, EEST) on Friday 16.9. and ends at 1PM on Sunday 18.9. Seminar is held in Rovaniemi which is the northernmost city in Finland. Most of the event takes place in the SantaSport hotel (Hiihtomajantie 2, 96400 Rovaniemi) located near the Ounasvaara. The event is intended for youth between ages of 15 and 28. The event will be held in english.

The registration for Finnish, Danish and Norwegian youth begins on 6th of June. Registration for others begins on the 1st of August. The maximum number of participants in the event is 80 and it is divided as follows:
- 40 from Finland,
- 20 from Norway and
- 20 from Denmark.

The quotas might change depending on the interest. If the quotas are not filled by 1.8., anyone can register freely, despite the country of origin. The last registration date is 31.8.

Participation for the event is free of charge, including the accommodation, meals and programme. Additionally we offer a travel reimbursement for participants in the following manner:
- 80€ for participants traveling from Finland
- 150€ for participants traveling from Denmark and Norway in the quotas

The quotas are now fulfilled and all of the other participants who register, receive 80€ reimbursement.

Any expenses over the reimbursement are to be covered by the participant themselves. Participants who get the travel reimbursement will be contacted after registration.

The instructions for reimbursement will be sent for registered participants later. If you need the reimbursement before the event, feel free to contact the project coordinator Saana by email saana.ylikruuvi@eurooppanuoret.fi.

The easiest and most sustainable way to travel in Finland is by train. Train schedules are to be found on railway company's website: https://www.vr.fi/en.

Room request
Here you can make requests for the room. There will be rooms for 3-6 people and some will have saunas. Rooms will be divided by gender and mixed with participants from different countries. We will do our best to fulfil all requests.

Here you can indicate if you have any special needs, such as restrictions in mobility, that need to be considered when organizing the event. Seminar is held in accessible spaces and the guidelines for safer spaces are to be followed.
