APPLICATION FOR THE VASHTI VICTIM'S FUND
This application is for those who identify as victims of religious or spiritual abuse, and are currently experiencing financial hardship due to exiting or leaving an adverse spiritual or religious environment. All applications are screened and vetted by our Directors. If an individual identifies as a survivor of religious or spiritual trauma, yet is not currently fleeing an adverse environment, then we will direct them to the other services we offer or outside referrals. For those who qualify, we will review each case and award gifts based on need and funding.

Our Rights and Statement of Intent
The Vashti Initiative does not discriminate against any individual based on color, race, ethnicity, gender, expression, orientation, religion, or ability. The proceeding factors will not play a part in whether an applicant qualifies for our victim's fund. However, we do reserve the right to self-determine to award or deny based on the circumstances of each individual case. We also reserve the right to deny any individual who we feel does not meet our criteria to qualify for the fund.

In addition, The Vashti Initiative is currently funded by crowd donations and our abilities are limited. In the event that we can no longer provide our victim's fund, we will not be held liable to continue offering financial support. Though it is our hope to continue providing direct aid for as long as is possible, we recognize there may be limitations and ask for your understanding. Currently we are offering a maximum of $200 per victim, per year and will be awarding to a select number of survivors.

Payments may be made by way of gift cards, direct services (i.e. hotels, transportation), or through online portals (i.e. gofundme, paypal, venmo, etc), and The Vashti Initiative reserves the right to determine the form of payout. Victim fund recipients will have no conditions or obligations placed on them outside of the initial application process. These funds are a gift and cannot be returned once granted, nor can any future demands for repayment or conditions after acceptance be placed upon recipients.
