2019 Scholarship for Scholastic and Extra-Curricular Merit
For the 2019-2020 academic year, the WCDS Board of Directors has allocated funds to support merit scholarships up to 50% of tuition for new students enrolling in the school.  At WCDS we define “merit” not only as academic achievement but also as a demonstrated desire of students to become their best selves through the development of their character as well as their natural gifts and talents. In short, we are looking for students who contribute positively to their families, their schools, and their communities.  All aspects of the application for admission (recommendations, academic transcripts or
report cards, written responses to questions, and admission interviews during shadowing days) will be considered when evaluating the scholarship application.

All applicants should complete the Family Data section. Students applying for entrance into grades 4 -10 should complete the Activities/Awards section. Students applying for entrance into grades 1-3 should have parents assist with the completion of the Questionnaire section. There are no scholarships available for students entering Kindergarten, Pre-Kindergarten, Preschool, Grade 11, or Grade 12.

The Admissions Office will contact you once the the scholarship application and application for admission has been received. Please contact Lisa Cieplak if you have further questions:  admissions@wcdsva.org.
