Imara Roose Inc. is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) mentoring program for girls of color, by women of color. Our mission is to empower black and brown girls to break through systemic barriers and change their trajectory!
To date, we’ve hosted over 250 workshops, 10 field trips, and impacted over 100 girls in our community. Imara Roose mentees are girls (9th-12th grade) who attend Eleanor Roosevelt High School (ERHS) in Greenbelt, MD.
MENTOR MONDAYS: Every Monday, 4:30PM-6PM. NOTE: Required for all mentees.
COLLEGE & CAREER READINESS: Every Thursday, 4:30PM-6PM. NOTE: Required for 11th and 12th graders.
